Lisa Hinson

Founder and President

Lisa Hinson is president and founder of Hinson Ltd Public Relations, a boutique agency she launched in 1999 that serves a multitude of clients in the real estate development, retail and related sectors. With over 30 years in media relations, community relations, marketing and event management, Hinson has provided services to leading businesses and organizations throughout central Ohio.

Hinson serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations
including The James Cancer Hospital Foundation Board and The Ohio State University Foundation Board. She is also a trustee of Otterbein University and a former board member and chair of Experience Columbus, which promotes regional travel and tourism. She is a recently appointed board member for The Columbus Metropolitan Club and vice chair of The Hinson Family Foundation, a supporting organization of The Columbus Foundation.

Hinson co-founded Girls with Gears, a grassroots peloton that has raised over $1.4 million for cancer research at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research at The Ohio State University through its annual participation in Pelotonia.

She received the Kent Clapp Medical Mutual CEO Leadership Award for Community Service, was designated a YWCAWoman of Achievement and received the United Way of Central Ohio’s Bob Crane Sr. Young Philanthropist Award.

Previous board service includes The Columbus Foundation, Columbus School for Girls, The Columbus Symphony Orchestra, New Albany Children’s Ballet Theater, The Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts and Directions for Youth and Families.

Hinson is a resident of New Albany, Ohio and is married to residential real estate agent Alan Hinson.
