Rochelle Young

Senior Account Manager

Rochelle Young joined Hinson Ltd in March of 2017 following a 20-year career in television news production. Young began as a producer in Cleveland before moving to New York City to work for CBS News. Young returned to the Buckeye State and served as executive producer of special projects at WBNS in Columbus. Her 12 years in the Columbus television market included responsibility for managing major projects and community events as well as specials and brand initiatives. Media career highlights include producing interviews with the President, securing news reports in Cuba and booking national news guests for CBS News. Young serves as an adjunct professor at Capital University, teaching video production, media writing and social media marketing.

Young has won eight regional Emmy Awards, the Regional Edward R. Murrow Award and numerous other press awards. She was recognized as the 2013 John Carroll University Young Alumni Award recipient and a 2015 Distinguished MBA Alumni Award recipient from Capital University.

Young is a mentor for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio Project Mentor program. She also serves as Emmy Awards administrative assistant for The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences – Ohio Valley Chapter. Young enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, renovating their circa 1848 home in West Jefferson, Ohio, traveling and skiing.
